collaboration: mikhail – future
London-based singer/composer/performance artist Mikhail Karikis just recently released his latest work Xenofonia on Sub Rosa, former home to my phon°noir project. MIkhail and me have a little history of collaboration: I reworked the piece Asteris from his debut album, my Telekaster remix of the track was published on his brilliant Morphica album in 2009. But even before that Mikhail had contributed a remix of We Still Miss The Future to my Phon°noir remix EP Counting Raindrops. Based on this remix he built a new track called Future, which still features my voice and lyrics – while the track has been turned into an orchestral piece of incredible richness.
