installation: lost in forms by david olbrich
2012 November
Lost In Forms, a work by David Olbrich, UdK Berlin/Uferstudios Berlin, 2012.
“A dynamic spatial scenario responsive to various requisitions. An installation, a facility to move around in, to be part of a process, an opus, to be contemporary, contributing one’s own personality. Chimes, which hang from the ceiling, are put in motion by operating a system of ropes and pulleys. Sensors within the tubes respond to these movements creating live acoustic patterns.”
I designed the sounds for david’s work. they are being recomposed and ‘played live’ by the moving bodies of the dancers in the installation space.
