Travelogue, roadmap, loveletter, mission statement. This record has become many things. After a few years of exploring textural ambient guitar across several albums and EPs (including the 2024 LP Tracing Back The Stream), these new recordings mark a point of departure for Telekaster. This time I was co-working with drummer Danny Rico (Steaming Satellites, DRiP), setting out to explore groove-infused territory – always melodic, always elegant and packaged in an emotional band sound. So Telekaster takes a dive into Neo-Kraut, Cosmic Music and Ambient Jazz, the latter highlighted on the track Lichtung, which features the saxophone talents of Philipp Hager aka Schweben (one half of German avant-rock-duo Zement) in a beautiful collaborational effort.  See you at the Space Lido!
